CNN.com - Thai monks slashed to death

This area is far from where we visited this past summer. I think it's actually quite close to the border with Malaysia, in the far south, especially given the Muslim demographic.

There's no need for a header on this one. Saddening. Religious unrest reminds me of the desperate need that Thailand has for prayer. Part of me is relieved that it's not a militant Christian group. Most of me is just crying out for these two.

I guess Thailand made it's impression on me. Hope i made some impression on Thailand, too. Need to be praying for those kids we met so briefly; those are the only real Thai non-Christians that we had extended contact with.
