Skinning a cat
The new blogger feels fine. Nice, rounded edges, keyboard shortcuts.
Still the same old product at the end of the day. Nothing to complain about, mind you, since it's free, but still the same. Thanks to the 5 monkeys who came to draft 7 Masters Shadowfist on Sunday... sorry for all the monkeys i inconvenienced by thoughtlessly scheduling it on Mother's Day. We'll get it right next year.
The most interesting thing about the new blogger so far: 676 entries since i started. I don't have much to write about nowadays. Maybe i should make this a recursive blog, and only write about things i've previously written about. Apparently, i didn't think it was noteworthy to blog about the Shadowfist mishap with Mother's Day last year.
The weekend was wall-to-wall packed. From the time i left work on Friday, i...
dropped by the baseball card shop to play Marvel Vs. with the San Dimas HS kids, had prayer and planning for Mustard Seed with Takako, attended Jolene's missions presentation for Career, grabbed dinner @ Denny's and strawberry donuts at the (by now) world-famous Donut Man, went to the CORE and learned that it's okay to be a failure at youth ministry, made dinner at the Pasadena Rescue Mission, prepped Sunday School, prepped discipleship, made tickets for Jolene's send-off, took Mom to church, picked up Mr. Stylez, went to church, taught Sunday School, dropped off Mom, did discipleship, ran the Shadowfist tournament, dropped off Mr. SuperiorKungFu, watched Van Helsing with Mr. (8! and Mr. FrownsOnPasadena, and read half of Messy Spirituality.
Hmm. I think the CORE people are right. I need to be less efficient, not more!
