Seriously, though, isn't fall just the best? I'm sitting at home, a nice bowl of chili and rice on one side, a glass of juice on the other, reading football scores between working on a Chimp Shack production coming to a wedding near you. I taught a great, intimate Sunday School lesson with just four of us in our regular classroom, getting to know new students. Spent a few hours covering books for the library using that fancy-shmancy adhesive vinyl. (does that stuff prevent wear and tear at all? My theory: shoot_go_mui's mom made us do it so that we'll feel bonded with the books, and track them down relentlessly should any go astray, like the shepherd after the one.) Dropped by the comic shop, found out they aren't running a DC Heroclix marquee (or are turning away outsiders-- their game scene is creepily insular). Came home, took a nap, grabbed my chili, and settled down to read the latest.

Carpooling tomorrow, too. The hits just keep on coming.
