I've been playing basketball with Mr. Infiniti and friends. To ward off the embarrassment of playing 4-on-5, last week, i was taught how to make a lay up. And i made one. I think he said to me, "That was a great cut!" at least six times. Even at the wedding banquet that night. We are idjits.

I guess i'll be playing as regularly as i can between now and China, so that when sports night happens, i won't get schooled by all the locals like last year. But that means i'm tired of the blisters on my feet, so i won't be playing in my running shoes anymore.

I need a non-name brand (no Nike, Adidas, or Reebok... Saucony is probably okay) pair of basketball shoes. Anyone want to go shopping? Or can point me to a decent... umm... model? Is that what they're called?

This also means i'll be up to four pairs of shoes. Crummy.
