The best part about spending time with Mr. and Mrs. Fadeaway is the laughter.
I went over to their place tonight, and was greeted with laughter, and a walk to the liquor store, and two separate goes at our task. Upon being suitably horrified that my dinner consisted of a Slim Jim and a watermelon Gatorade, Mrs. Fadeaway even heated me up some delicious marinated beef.
Hours later, i staggered out of their home, firmly convinced of the wonders of hand-whisking, wireless networking, and Hawaiian coffee byproducts. You can sample the fruit of our labor at the Friday night fellowship at SGVAC. I gave that zaboglione the best ten minutes of my life. We're also talking about my trip this summer, so come if you're interested and have the time.
I have a really big, really scary day-long meeting with the governing board this weekend. I'm by no stretch of the imagination a young guy, but this is not my area of special expertise. So pray for me. Middle-aged Cantonese speakers are challenging! I knew blowing off Chinese language was not the best expression of childhood rebellion.
But i did it anyway.
